As part of Foot Health Week coming up in October, the Australian Podiatry association is collating some heartfelt stories from Podiatrists to promote the amazing contribution they do to help patients in the community get back on their feet and stay healthy.

David Webby and Daniel Lewis from Kingston Beach Health Centre know how important it is to have healthy and pain free feet.

Work injuries to feet are very common and can affect loss of income, particularly if one is self-employed. Employment rehabilitation services and Drs often refer people to Podiatrist, if the injury is affecting their return to work. 'David is reminded of one such patient, who injured their foot whilst using a ladder. 'My patient tore his plantar fascial ligament under his foot and was slow to heal. It was great to see the quick improvement and pain relief he got from sports strapping, until we were able to organise manufacture of his custom Orthotics devices.'

If you have some sort of pain, either in your feet, knees or back, maybe we can make a difference for you.
